ACS Minnesota Section Activities Younger Chemists Committee The MNACS YCC Mission Statement
The MN ACS YCC is committed to the needs and concerns of younger
chemists. Subscribe to the YCC email list to stay current on activities and opportunities for young chemists! Subscribe online or by email. April 14: FREE Summit Brewery Tour
The MN ACS Younger Chemists Committee (YCC) hosted a free tour of the Summit Brewery in Saint Paul. Over 20 people attended. The tour was fun and informative and the free samples were much appreciated by all. Summit Group Caption: The chemistry of brewing, good conversation, and free beer. This is a great opportunity for undergrads in the
area
to present the results of their research and see what research is being
pursued at other universities. Moreover, as a judged competition
sponsored
by the ACS, this represents a good way for students to add to their CV,
and
we hope that your universities are willing to be involved. Last year
was a
successful event, with over 40 chemistry undergraduates from the UMN,
Hamline University, and University of St. Thomas presenting at the
poster
