The deadline for abstract
submission is August 24th, and the deadline for early registration at reduced
cost is Sep 30th.
We also want to publicize as widely as possible the Regional awards that will
be presented at the meeting, and make sure your Section has every opportunity
to nominate your best candidates. The nomination process is as streamlined as
we can make it, either fully on-line, or provided as a fillable pdf that can be
emailed to the respective Awards Committee. The awards seeking nominations are:
- ACS Division of Chemical
Education Award for Excellence in High School Teaching, nomination
deadline Sep 1
- E Ann Nalley Award for
Volunteer Service, nomination deadline Sep 1
- probably a bit too late
now for Stanley C Israel Award for Advancing Diversity in the Chemical
Sciences, nomination deadline Aug 1
