Elected by general voting. Includes Chair, Chair-Elect,
Secretary, Treasurer, and Past-Chair. They have the overall responsibility for
leadership of the local section.
- Councilors

Elected by general voting. Includes councilors and alternate
councilors. They represent the local section at the National ACS and
are also responsible for guidance of the local section programs/activities.
- Education

Volunteers. Overall task to enable and facilitate academic
education in the chemical sciences.

- Outreach

Volunteers. Responsible for making the community aware of the
influence and impact of chemists and chemistry.
- Communications

Volunteers. Primary routes of communications between MNACS/ACS
and the world that includes members, legislators, and the general public.
- Professional
-
Volunteers. Promote professional development and interactions
between scientific professionals including chemists and engineers.
- Operations
-
Volunteers. Work towards general well being of the local
section and includes long-range planning.
- Programming
-
Elected + volunteers. Responsible for the primary local
section function of organizing meetings and facilitating interactions among
the members.
- Nominating
-
Elected by general voting. Responsible for choosing candidates to be placed on
the ballot for the next election.
