Welcome to a page created especially for high school Chemistry teachers.
If you are a teacher and have a class web site, or if you'd like to suggest a page, please mail a link, description, and why it should be posted here, to the webmaster.
Our first link "place of honor" goes to our 2009 local section award winner, Dr. Janice Gepner of St. Paul Academy, at http://chemistrysky.com.

As a part of the International Year of Chemistry
celebrations, The Minnesota Section of the American Chemical Society is
offering FREE materials for you and your classes to conduct a short hands-on
experiment measuring the pH of natural waters. Data from your classes will be
combined with data from other parts of the USA, and you will eventually receive
all the results from the national data for discussion with your classes. We will ask interested teachers to come
to a short meeting on APRIL 30th with Marilyn Duerst, Sarah Mullins, and Lynn
Hartshorn, where a light breakfast will be provided, together with enough take-home materials for
three of your classes and complete instructions on how to use the materials. You will need to RSVP by APRIL 15th so we are sure that we have
enough materials and can provide breakfast for you. IF YOU KNOW ANY ELEMNTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHERS WHO
MIGHT BE INTERESTED PLEASE FEEL FREE TO FORWARD THIS INVITATION. Please download the document with the reservation form.
