Do you know MNACS has a Facebook group? If you're a Facebook user, you can add yourself to the group to see our updates right on your news feed.
| MNACS is slowly transitioning to the 21st century "social-media" Internet. Our old text-based LISTSERV is no longer running (the hamster powering that server died) and we are now moving to Facebook and Google Groups to replace that service.
- If you want to be part of the Facebook group, just go to your Facebook account and in the Search box, look for American Chemical Society Minnesota Local Section (or "Like" us at left!)
- There are two Google Groups set up. MNACS-Ex is the executive committee's group - primarily about business, meeting planning and minutes, etc. The other group, MNACS, is for more general topics.
- The MNACS group is an open group: anyone can sign up for it. People who sign up can post messages, and you have the option of receiving messages in several formats: as they are posted; as a daily digest, or reading only when you visit the page. Visit the page to sign up. It has very little traffic now.
- The MNACS-EX group is a closed group. If you are interested in receiving those messages, go to the group page and click "Request an invitation to join this group".
